Key proposition:

Dutch Game Garden’s incubation program helps promising game startups develop into fully-functioning game companies. It’s a series of trainings aimed at helping you with questions like “how do I fund my development costs?”, “how do I negotiate with a publisher?” and “what marketing does my game need?”. Every first Wednesday of the month, it’s Incubation Day at Dutch Game Garden. Companies enrolled in the program will gather for a full day of business development.

The incubation program focuses primarily on business aspects of game development. Since you already know how to make an amazing game, we help you to turn your studio into an amazing business. The Incubation Days center around a specific theme every month, including marketing, business strategy, team management, finance, legal, and production.

Companies are built with people. This is especially true in the multidisciplinary field of game development. That’s why the incubation program of Dutch Game Garden focuses primarily on learning with and from each other. Instead of a rigid program, we focus on your needs, connecting you to the right person at the right time. We help you to set up a meeting, point out important business aspects you have not yet thought about, and we facilitate debates about issues that you struggle with.

The Incubation Days at Dutch Game Garden increase your network, expand your knowledge and inspire you to create an awesome company. You are in charge, so you can make your company flourish. We are here to guide you in the right direction, being both your coach as well as your cheerleader!

The program is free, but not without obligations. We expect studios to commit fully to the program, meaning that we need you to share and create knowledge with others. We love to support motivated, driven studios in the process of launching their game to the market!

We are currently in the process of selecting new studios for the program. If you want to enlist, email our Incubation Manager Menno van Pelt-Deen at and tell us why you’d like to participate. We’ll set up a meeting and discuss further details.
