Dutch Game Garden is a game incubator and business center with multiple locations in the Netherlands, housing 40+ game studios. Our mission is to create economic growth by supporting the Dutch games industry and promote entrepreneurship. Besides providing studio space, events, advice & matchmaking, Dutch Game Garden’s incubation program helps promising game startups with individual coaching, workshops, and lectures.

What is it that we do?

Some of the most talented game studios from the Netherlands call (or have called) Dutch Game Garden their home. Examples include Abbey Games (Reus, Renowned Explorers), Vlambeer (Ridiculous Fishing, Nuclear Throne), RageSquid (Action Henk), Digital Dreams (Metrico+), Active Cues (Tovertafel) and Ronimo Games (Awesomenauts, Swords & Soldiers). The assorted mix of creativity is what makes Dutch Game Garden a prime hub for game development in the Netherlands.

We guide promising young studios through our startup support program. By drawing upon the expertise of skilled mentors, each startup learns a great deal in a short amount of time. Our network provides a continuing exchange of knowledge and lessons learned between studios, entrepreneurs, investors, schools and governments. We also offer affordable and flexible housing in our business center for established game companies looking for an inspiring place.

Dutch Game Garden organizes events and projects to foster innovation, promote the exchange of information, and help game developers get exposure as well as access to a network of peers and experts in the games industry. All these activities make Dutch Game Garden unique in the Netherlands and abroad.

Dutch Game Garden is made possible by the city of Utrecht and the province of Utrecht.
